Baptism makes us children of light and empowers us to bring the light of Christ into the world. Baptism is God’s unearned gift to us that confers the grace and life of Christ.
The baptism process below is for newborns through children age 7. For children older than age 7 or Adults seeking Baptism, please contact the office for information about the RCIA process or visit the RCIA Page.
Infant Baptism Class
Prior to the Baptism, both parents are required to attend a baptism class if they have never attended or it has more than three years since their last attendance. Godparents, taking on an important role of the child to be baptized, should be highly encouraged to also attend. If the class is not taken at St. Angela Merici, please provide proof of attendance from the parish where the class was taken.
