We hold within us a knowing and a not-knowing of God. Sometimes we hear God speaking to the very fiber of our being with every breath we take, with the sun that rises, as we gaze lovingly at others or are graced with the gaze of another resting on us. When we completely still ourselves, we especially know and hear God in the silence. Yet at other times we experience the ungraspability of the One we desire most, even a frustrating inability often to explain that desire to ourselves.....
