Marketing Tips:
When submitting a request for Announcements for your event, be sure your announcement answers the basic W’s.
Who – Who is your group? And Who are you inviting?
What – What is it
Where – Where is it
When – When is it
Why- The purpose of the event
These W’s do not need to be on every piece of marketing, but they should be somewhere you can direct people to read more about the event. Get their attention and send them to your webpage for more…
There should be contact information for each piece of media created. Either list a person with email/phone or your webpage where they can get more information or ask questions.
Consider creating an FAQ information sheet to our parish receptionists so they may answer any questions received about your event and know where to direct people who call with questions.
